Feed America First says, “We are in absolute awe of the success of Dancing With The Nashville Stars on Thursday night! Presented by Kemp and Rice Orthodontics and Legacy Tree Foundation, a sold-out room fiercely cheered our our 5 celebrity dancers: Nancy Amons, Matt Brown, Rafael Calderon, Kelly Meyers, and Calleigh Minor – and in total, raised enough funds to provide OVER 4 MILLION MEALS for our neighbors in need across the region! We are so incredibly grateful for our celebrity dancers and all the hard work they put into this event over the past few months. But the coveted mirrored ball trophy – awarded to the top fundraiser of the competition – could only go home with the grand champion: Calleigh Minor, who raised a jaw-dropping 1.4 MILLION MEALS! This makes Calleigh our top regular-season fundraiser of all time! Congratulations Calleigh, it was a well deserved win and your efforts will have a lasting legacy on hunger relief! Congratulations to ALL our dancers – you are all winners! More info and pictures coming soon!”
Calleigh has expressed heartfelt thanks an appreciation for everyone who supported her in this effort, “Thank you for donating, voting and cheering me on. Every dollar makes a difference and we couldn’t have raised $91,000 without your help.“
It’s an honor and blessing to be able to contribute to such a worthy organization and have such an impact. And we know our we could not have had this impact without you.
