The C10’s 4th Run is One for the Record Books – But maybe not for the reasons you’d guess…

I’m certain some of you think the C10 is smoke and mirrors. You think, “It’s not realistic!”, or “It won’t work in my application.”

Well, this is a trip report you have to see. You remember February 2021? A majority of the US faced some type of extreme weather, most of us in a crippling snow storm. 

The going got tough and we decided to take the C10 south.  And the Sunshine State carried it back north, way north! Routing from Florida to Erie, Buffalo, New York and New Jersey – all while battling the elements. 

You know what awful weather and winter in general mean to Fuel Economy. The C10 got 8.5%, which in most cases is average at best, but under the circumstances (and we think you’ll agree) is pretty remarkable. 

After seeing the stats on this run, and knowing the conditions under which the truck was performing – if you still think the C10 is smoke and mirrors, and won’t work in your application…. I dare you to give it a test drive. On me.
