Idealease Tech Wins Technician Grand Championship – 2026
Kenneth Holleman (Nashville Idealease) won the Idealease Technician Skills Competition Grand Champion title at the 2026 Idealease Best Practices Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana
We are thrilled to share some exciting news — Ken Holleman of Cumberland Idealease Nashville has won the 2nd Annual Idealease IdealTECH Technician Skills Competition!
This year’s competition was the largest yet, with 165 technicians from across the U.S. and Canada competing in the written challenge — three times the participation from last year. From that field, only eight finalists advanced to the live, hands-on finals at the 2026 Idealease Best Practices Meeting in Indianapolis. Ken was one of them.
And then he dominated. Ken won 4 out of 8 stations in the hands-on competition, a remarkable performance that set him apart from an already elite group of finalists.
This is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of the skill, discipline, and dedication Ken brings to his work every day. Please join me in congratulating him on this well-deserved recognition!

Holleman, a skilled technician from the Cumberland Idealease in Nashville, Tennessee, received a Grand Champion plaque engraved with his name and a cash prize highlighting his impressive achievement.
The IdealTECH competition, held June 1st at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis Indiana, was part of the 2026 Idealease Best Practices Meeting. Holleman beat a pool of 8 technicians, who themselves qualified for the hands-on skills challenge after completing a grueling 800 question timed online exam against more than 900 of his Idealease peers! Ken is invited to attend the 2026 Idealease Annual Meeting, September 10–13, 2026 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado to be recognized by the Idealease organization.
The IdealTECH competition highlights the critical role our technicians play in keeping our trucks out of the service bay and in the hands of our customers. The dedication and skill of this year’s competitors were inspiring, and Idealease is proud to celebrate and honor the hard work of these truck service and maintenance professionals.
