McGavock High School’s Aviation & Transportation Academy has a picnic each year called Spring Wing Fling.  Local partner organizations and companies participate by providing demonstrations and speaking with students about career opportunities and industry information.  This year, freshmen who have not yet chosen an Academy attended, in addition to the sophomores, juniors and seniors who make up the Academy of 450 students.

The C10 made an appearance at the Spring Wing Fling for the second year in a row. Stephen King, Cumberland’s HR Director, and Andy Roberson, Cumberland’s Service Training Coordinator, spoke to students and other attendees about the C10’s fuel economy, features and answered questions about the truck.

Students and attendees had real-world questions about the C10 truck and we were happy to answer their questions.  The enthusiasm during the event was contagious.
