On Thursday, November 8, 2018 a handful of McGavock High School Seniors enrolled in the Transporation and Diesel Academy spent the morning shadowing Cumberland International Truck employees.

“These kids have an interest in our industry and our partnership with McGavock High School made this a perfect opportunity to give these students some exposure to our parts and service teams, and the daily responsibilities for Cumberland employees” said Stephen King, HR Director.

Asked what the most interesting thing they saw during the experience, one student exclaimed, “a blown engine.”

Students were paired with parts professionals, service technicians and managers and toured the dealership in a round-robin fashion.
