Keep an eye out for her posts as they will most certainly be content worth reading and sharing! Pamela has a wide range of experience and knowledge. Her are some recent highlights:

In 2017, Pamela had the opportunity to be the guest speaker at two universities and met with university professors. The first presentation was to Western Kentucky University’s Agriculture Issues Class. Pamela spoke on agriculture issues that are pertinent to students and Cumberland Tractor & Equipment, including finding qualified labor for agriculture jobs, being able to return to the family farm, or starting a farm. Pamela was able to tie in the need for agriculture mechanics and different agriculture equipment available at CTE. At the University of Tennessee at Martin, Pamela spoke to the Agriculture Leadership Class about being a female leader in agriculture and working in tractor sales. During both presentations, students asked questions about agriculture equipment and careers at CTE.

In the fall 2017, the Tennessee Young Farmers & Ranchers held their Fall Agriculture Tour in Putnam and Cumberland counties. Pamela and her husband, Eric, participated in the statewide Excellence in Agriculture competition and placed 4th. The competition includes a written application and a 25-minute presentation on their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, and involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations. During the tour, Pamela was able to talk to 250 farmers in attendance and toured the following farms/agribusinesses: Oakley Farms, Tanimura & Antle, Honest Abe Log Homes, Barky Beaver Mulch, Northfield Vineyards, Amazin Acres, and Davis Farms.
