Effective January 17, 2018 the International® HV™ Series Models with 107” BBC and Cummins® B6.7 and L9 Engines are available for ordering.
The International HV Series was designed for vocational applications where uptime and productivity are essential. The HV models are built with double-sided galvanized steel cabs for quality fit and finish and long term protection from corrosion. Exterior features offered include a three-piece hood, breakaway mirrors, available stationary chrome grille that provides excellent radiator access and allows the hood to be opened over front mounted equipment, integrated splash panels to protect the engine compartment and an easy to service headlight assembly. Batteries can be located in the cab for easier servicing in harsh weather and to free up rail space for mounting other components. Chassis components are huck-bolted, providing durability and superior clamping load. Huck bolts will not loosen and will not need to be re-torqued, meaning they are maintenance free. An optional single ½” thick frame rail has the strength of a double rail but is lighter in weight and eliminates the chance of inter-rail corrosion. Available integral front frame extensions offer superior strength and reliability.
The HV is equipped with the International® Diamond Logic® Electrical System for on-board diagnostics monitoring of vehicle components to keep you informed of the vehicle’s status. Diamond Logic enables control of and communication between vehicle components and body equipment to reduce downtime, improve productivity, increase safety and optimize maintenance. Diamond Logic provides the ability to customize the vehicle chassis to suit specific application needs, streamline the body installation process and add convenience for the driver and operator.
Inside the HV cab is a driver friendly environment. The new easy to read layout of the gauge cluster and steering wheel controls keeps the driver’s eyes on the road. All of the controls within the cab are designed to be operated while wearing gloves. Available steering column mounted stalk control for transmission and engine brake operation. The HV is available with a flat or wing panel style instrument panel. Two interior trim levels, Classic and Diamond, are available. An optional upgrade to a black cherry color accent is also available with Diamond Trim.
