Our first driver in the #RACEto10MPG, James Thorne, is on the verge of closing out his run. He’s spoken to Chase Adkins of Sharp Transport a few times with some trip updates where he has talked about truck features, trip details and MPG strategies. Here’s what he had to say.

- LT Power and breaks are good – the better fuel economy does not appear to be affecting power, breaking is smooth. Strategy for getting back to Tennessee will be to watch speed and look for hills to utilize when stopping (gravity lends a helping hand). (VIDEO)
