TAPT 2017 – On June 4-7, 2017, Tennessee Association of Pupil Transportation (TAPT) held its annual conference in Pigeon Forge, TN. 434 attendees were registered for this year’s conference, a slight decrease from last year’s attendance. Cumberland sponsored a luncheon to kick off the event, and the crowd overflowed the venue and spilled into the concourse area and other rooms. The luncheon explained the new features available on buses and entertained the audience with a Family Feud Game Show. We treated 268 customers and their families to Dolly’s newest dinner show, The Smokey Mountain Adventures. We traveled on IC Buses provided by Sevier County Schools. Attendees were asked to bring a jar of unopened peanut butter to make a donation to the Sevier County Food Bank. The trade show was a wonderful opportunity to interact with customers and passout wall calendars and homemade cookies.
