Recently, Cumberland Tractor salesman Joe Williams introduced a new customer, to our facility on Dickerson Road. They’re a premier electrical contractor and telecommunications provider in our region. Joe has known the owner for quite some time.
They were looking for one company to suit his equipment needs. He was interested in a dump truck, 10-ton trailer, mini excavator, and track loader. Joe knew he had his work cut out for him. He called James Kaufman, over at Cumberland International Truck, and asked for the best application to help with his clients’ truck needs. James’ recommended an International 4300 Truck with a landscape dump.
The benefit to the customer couldn’t be clearer! We were able to put together a truck and equipment package, allow a customer to deal with one company for all their truck and equipment needs.
Joe put a package together which included the International 4300 with dump bed, a Better Built 10-ton Trailer, Takeuchi TB260 Excavator, and a Takeuchi TL8 Track Loader.
Many of our competitors had quoted this customer on trucks and equipment, but the customer wanted to deal with one salesman and one company. We were able to complete this sale. The truck was ordered and all of the equipment is in the process of being delivered!
