Cumberland International Trucks Sponsors Field of Honor at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, Honors Veteran Employees

Veteran-Owned Dealership Dedicates Flags to Employee Veterans in Patriotic Tribute

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 1, 2025) – Cumberland International Trucks, a veteran-owned commercial truck dealership serving Middle Tennessee and Central/Northeast Florida, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2025 Field of Honor® at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. The company will dedicate dozens of flags to honor its veteran employees as part of this moving tribute to America’s military service members.

Hosted by the Exchange Club of Donelson-Hermitage in partnership with the Colonial Flag Foundation, Field of Honor® features 1,000 American flags flying on Victory Field at The Hermitage from November 6 through November 15, 2025. The free, public event includes an opening ceremony, visiting hours and a closing ceremony, creating one of the region’s most significant Veterans Day tributes.

As a veteran-owned company led by someone who wore the uniform, supporting the Field of Honor® is deeply personal for us,” said Terry Minor, CEO of Cumberland International Trucks and U.S. Army veteran. “We’re honored to dedicate flags to our veteran employees, whose service to our nation exemplifies the best of American values. Their commitment, discipline, and work ethic continue to strengthen our organization every day.”

Cumberland International Trucks maintains a veteran employee base that consistently represents triple the national average—a distinction the company considers one of its greatest achievements. This commitment to hiring veterans reflects the organization’s core values and recognition of the exceptional skills and character that military service members bring to civilian careers.

Our veterans don’t keep America’s trucks on the road —they drive our culture,” Terry Minor added. “Field of Honor® gives us an opportunity to publicly honor their sacrifice and service, and to stand alongside our community in expressing gratitude to all who have defended our freedom.”

The Field of Honor® display will be open to the public at 421 Highland Drive in Hermitage, Tennessee. An official Dedication Ceremony will take place on Friday, November 7 at 2:00 pm. The Closing Ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 15 at 10:00 am. Veterans and flag sponsors can pick up their flag when the Closing Ceremony ends.
